Samsung Serenata. Samsung Serenata a music oriented phone is the result of two companies - Samsung and B&0 (bang-olufsen). Serenata is takes as a rivalry phone to famous Apple iPhone. Combining two gadgets - a Music device and a Mobile phone, This new Samsung Serenata is ready to hit the market. Designed at B&O, the deevice measures 63 by 110 by 20 mm and weighs 136 grams only. Serenata hosts 4 GB of internal memory which is capable of holding 1000 songs. A 2.2 inches LCD (liquid crystal display) touch screen is hidden below the navigation wheel. All primary functions on the phone are controlled by the navigation wheel including operating menus, dialing, writing and accessing music lists. Serenata works with GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) networks in the 900,1800 and 1900 MHz bands, and with HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) services on 3G networks. When the device is in Phone mode the screen turns to Blue and when the device is in Music mode the screen turns to Red. This mechanism is deviced for user convinience. Serenata comes with proprietary BeoPlayer which synchronizes the files on your phone and PC.
