Samsung i640. The Samsung i640 is a 3G Smartphone powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard Edition. It operated on GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 2100 mobile phone networks. More often these days many cell phones are able to offer HSDPA thus offering options like MSN, Skype, Internet and Email etc to be accessed directly on mobile phones. Samsung i640 also has Opera web browser. This new Samsung i620 also offers you 3G support (HSDPA, 1.8 Mbps). And another usefull feature of i640 is that it packs a QWERTY keypad similar to blackberry. Samsung i640 also has a Jog Dial - The big navigation wheel in the middle, similar to circular navigation button on the HTC Touch Cruise, you can either press it or move your fingers around it to access menus. Stay “always on” with the i640’s Push Email-direct-to-inbox function, which makes retrieving messages as easy as taking a call. i640's Document viewer (MS Word, Excel, PPT, PDF) helps you to open and read office documents. It has 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM to save your files, if that is not sufficient you can always use its microSD expansion slot. Other common features include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB support, WMA/MP3/AAC/AAC+/OGG/ASF player etc. And at last it also offers you a built-in 2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels, video camera with flash.
