Samsung D880 Duos. The new stylish Samsung Duos D880 mobile phone is all set to hit the market. It was released in October 2007 and is now available in the market. Samsung D880 Duos is not an old model phone, It works with two SIMs. YES! the Samsung D880 Duos can operate TWO SIM cards at a time. Until recently we are all aware of Dual-SIM phones comming from CHINA manufacturers. But all these worked with only ONE SIM at a time. You will have to switch between the SIM cards. When you activate one sim the other becomes deactivated in those phones. Now the Samsung being a popular brand company for mobile phones has changed this scenario. D880 Duos can operate two SIMs at a time both with their own profiles set i.e you can have a seperate ring tone, message tone etc AND ofcourse you do get incomming calls on both the SIMs simultaneously. So you will never loose a call. And you can use any of the SIM or both SIMs for SMS, EMAIL, GPRS etc services simultaniously.
And now to other specifications, D880 Dous works on GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 bands and has got a 240 x 320 pixels, 2.3 inches TFT display. It weighs 113 grams and measures 104 x 51 x 18.9 mm only. Its 3.15 mega pixel camera is a great addon.
