Palm Treo 500v. The new Treo 500v is a 3G smartphone from the famous smartphone manufacturer - PALM. The Palm Treo 500v runs on Windows Mobile 6 standard platform edition. 500v features a High Speed 3G/UMTS Internet Access option. It is a tri-band GSM/UMTS phone supporting the 900/1800/1900 bands and UTMS 2100. IT measures 16.5mm (D) x 61.5mm (W) x 110mm (H) and weighs 120 grams only. Treo 500 comes with a full qwerty keyboard and a 240x320 Transflective display with 65k colours support. Full qwerty keypad allows you to easily key-in information. It includes 256MB memory with 150MB available for user storage and a microSD expansion slot. It also features a 2 megapixel digital camera, a Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and stereo headset support. Its other connectivity features are GPRS and 3G. A mini USB port is provided for charging and connectivity. It also has a 2.5mm headset jack. Its software includes Internet Explorer Mobile, Microsoft Office Mobile, Windows Live, access to Google Maps and eBay. Its Windows Media Player 10 plays almost all types media files. This phone is a good option for business users.
